HobbyFolio (hobbyfolio.app) is a personal project operated by Jiayi LI in France. This document describes stored information, processing purposes, and user options. Accessing the service constitutes acceptance of this policy. Inquiries can be sent to [email protected].
Your account. Authentication is handled through Google or Steam, so HobbyFolio stores no password. Google provides your name, email address, profile picture, and user ID; Steam provides your Steam ID, display name, and avatar. You can optionally set a display name, avatar, and time zone.
Your platform data. For linked platforms, HobbyFolio imports activity necessary to build your timeline—your library, playtime records, achievements, and logged plays. Ingestion applies solely to accounts you explicitly connect and data exposed by those platforms.
Technical data. Standard server logs are maintained, and how the service is used is recorded, to operate the service, secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse.
Data is processed strictly to maintain, protect, and improve the service: to log you in, import and display activity, and generate your profile page. Aside from your profile page, no data is shared with third parties, except the providers that run the service and statutory legal disclosures.
Your profile page. Your profile is a shareable page displaying your chosen name, avatar, and selected activity. Personal information, including your email address, remains hidden. Displayed contents and public access can be modified anytime in settings.
HobbyFolio’s processing of Google API data strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
HobbyFolio does not sell personal data, display advertising, or track users across external sites. Advertising and analytics cookies are omitted—cookies are utilized strictly to establish and maintain user sessions.
Data is retained while your account remains active. Initiating account deletion in settings permanently removes all associated records. Residual copies may persist in system backups or legally mandated archives. Deletion does not affect external Google, Steam, or third-party platform accounts. Reasonable security controls are applied to safeguard data, but no system is completely secure; keeping sign-in credentials safe remains your responsibility.
HobbyFolio is not intended for children under 13, and accounts identified as belonging to underage users may be removed. This policy may be updated; the date above indicates the latest revision, and continued use signifies acceptance.
